CCSO detectives need your help trying to unravel an arson last month at Whidden Industrial Park located in the Charlotte Harbor area of Port Charlotte. The fire was July 3rd about 2:30a.m. Firefighters were called to knock down the flames from a boat in a fenced in lot across from 4140 Whidden Blvd. When the business owner checked the area later, he found items in the fenced in lot suggesting the blaze wasn’t an accident.
