The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office continues looking for the man who it says took a woman’s bike from the Gardens of Gulf Cove.
The woman claims it happened at the recreation center on Monday.
The office reports she left her white and teal Huffy Cranbrook cruiser in the rank that afternoon. She did not find it when she returned a couple hours later.
Video shows a man removing the bike and riding it away. The sheriff’s office says he wore dark clothing and a dark hat and carried a dark duffle bag.
The man also appeared to have a large tattoo on his right arm.
