North Port PD and Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a stabbing suspect.
Investigators say the suspect and the victim had an argument in the driveway of a home in the 12000 block of Rosaro Avenue around midnight Sunday. The victim was stabbed in the stomach with a small knife and ran. A search with a helicopter and dogs was unsuccessful. The suspect’s an Hispanic man, 5’11” 165 pounds in a purple jersey and blue jeans. The victim was taken to Sarasota Memorial for non-fatal injuries.
