An Englewood man was arrested Monday after customers at a beach business reported he’d displayed a firearm inside Calico Jack’s and allegedly pointed the handgun at someone. 53-year old Rock Lavoie was arrested walking along Beach Road. Deputies say Lavoie has a concealed weapons permit, but one of the provisions of such a permit prohibits permit-holders to carry a concealed weapon into an “establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption” He’s in the Charlotte County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
