State lawmakers have decided how to spend the money in the new state budget.
The deal includes a 2.6 percent increase in spending on public school students.
Lawmakers have also agreed to give a five-percent pay raise to law enforcement officers, including highway patrol troopers.
They have also agreed to give judicial employees a pay raise, but rank-and-file state workers do not receive an across-the-board pay raise.
