The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office watches for people speeding along two stretches of road this week.
Deputies have staked out Highway 41 in Port Charlotte between Toledo Blade and Midway boulevards, as well as Highway 17 in Punta Gorda between Golf Course Boulevard and Washington Loop Road.
Enforcement of traffic lights and stop signs also takes place at two intersections.
Deputies watch drivers carefully at Highway 41 and Midway Boulevard in Port Charlotte, and at Highway 41 and Aqui Esta Drive in Punta Gorda.
