The State Attorney’s Office hasn’t decided yet if a 13-year old boy accused of slashing a jogger’s throat Tuesday evening will be charged as a juvenile or an adult. The Herald-Tribune reports Assistant State Attorney Nicole Jones, who’s in charge of the case, says prosecutors will review reports from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office before a decision is made. Damian Reel’s charged with suspicion of attempted first-degree murder. He’s being held at the Manatee Juvenile Detention Center for a minimum 21-days.
