The Florida Highway Patrol’s shutdown the southbound lanes of I-75 at mile marker 213 in Sarasota County after reports of concrete falling from the overpass onto University Parkway. NBC2 reports Southbound traffic is being detoured at SR-70 to US-41 to SR-780 (Fruitville Road) and back to I-75 at mile marker 210. The east and westbound lanes of University Parkway have also been closed.
