Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash flipped a vehicle in Punta Gorda this afternoon. It happened at US-41 and Olympia and involved two vehicles. One of the cars, one carrying two passengers, flipped. Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to cut open the flipped vehicle. Three out of the four people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
