64-year old George Coulter’s being held on $25,000 bond and facing drug charges after the death of a woman at his home on Mineo Drive in Punta Gorda July 11th. Coulter’s charged with Delivery of a Contraband Prescription, Possession and Possession with Intent to Deliver Alprazolam and Hydrocodone, Possession of Tylenol Codeine, and an additional five counts for possession of prescription medications without a valid prescription. Police say Coulter and the woman met at a Port Charlotte Bar, and police say he told them he gave her several Alprazolam pills, and saw her take several others before falling asleep. Police say the pills were marked and packaged as being manufactured in Colombia.
