The jury’s been picked to hear the case against a North Port man accused of taking photos of himself molesting a 2-year-old girl. 38-year old Anthony Hanifan was arrested last August after his phone number was linked to a Massachusetts child porn case by a man he’d allegedly sent images to. Hanifan’s facing 9-felony sex offense charges including transmitting child pornography, sexual assault on a child, lewd and lascivious behavior against a child and cruelty toward a child. Opening arguments are tomorrow.
