April 17 is Military Family and Community Covenant Day in Venice. Mayor John Holic’s issuing a proclamation at April 9th’s City COuncil meeting. The proclamation’s a symbol of the city’s ongoing commitment to supporting and honoring all military service members, veterans and their families. Venice is one of Florida’s 410 municipalities partnering with Florida Military Family and Community Covenant, Florida League of Cities, and Florida Regional Planning Councils Association to show support for those who make sacrifices daily for the nation.
