Sarasota Police made quick work of tracking down a suspect in this morning’s robbery of a Bank of America branch in the 3700 block of Fruitville Road. The call came in about 9:30 this morning. The Herald-Tribune reports investigators armed with information from witnesses were able to find the suspect hiding in a ditch. Authorities say the same man was wanted in another robbery earlier this morning at a Walgreens in the 1900 block of Fruitville Road.
