Looks like Kevin Williams is done with racing at Punta Gorda Speedway. According to the Englewood Sun, a crew working for him removed the bleachers, light poles, concession equipment and fences, and hauled them away Saturday. A previous speedway owner says with that stuff gone, it’ll be a lot harder for anyone to bring stock car racing back to the track. Williams lease with the Charlotte County Airport Authority, runs out at the end of this month.
