Charlotte County Sheriff’s undercover Narcotics detectives arrested two teens for Trafficking in MDMA/Ecstacy in Port Charlotte Monday. Arrested were Dylan Austin Roy, 17, 5400 Riverside Drive, Punta Gorda; and Timothy Michael Warnock, 19, 2291 Tamarind Street, Port Charlotte.

On Feb. 4, detectives first met with Roy at an undisclosed location and purchased 7 grams of MDMA for $410. Monday, detectives were in contact with Roy again, this time to buy more MDMA (also called Ecstacy, Molly, E, X and XTC). Roy asked detectives to meet him in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Murdock and also said he was going to bring along his supplier (Warnock). At 5:17 p.m., Roy and Warnock pulled into the parking lot in a “jacked up” Ford Ranger pickup. They got out and got into the undercover detectives vehicle and the exchange was made of 8 grams of MDMA for $410.

Once the deal was completed, other Narcotics detectives moved in and arrested both teens. Detectives located a digital scale, a cellphone, the 8-grams of MDMA and the $410 in marked money. Both were transported to the Charlotte County Jail. Roy was charged with Trafficking in MDMA, Sale and Delivery of MDMA, Possession of MDMA, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Once booked, he was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice center in Ft. Myers. Warnock was charged with Trafficking in MDMA, Sale and Delivery of MDMA, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a minor. He remains in jail on $32,000 bond.
