Kids’ Needs, a non-profit, all-volunteer group working to help Englewood children stay safe and in school, is in need of school supplies.
The group collects donations of new and nearly new school clothing and shoes, new toiletries and school supplies for boys and girls in grades K-12. Donated items are given to qualified students through each of the five Englewood public schools and through a newly opened store front on McCall Road. There is currently a pressing need for school supplies, especially colored pencils, loose leaf notebook paper, spiral notebooks, pencils, and three-prong pocket folders. Plain, solid-color (black preferred) backpacks are also in great demand.
