Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell has announced that 35-year-old Michael Sheeley has been charged with Second Degree Murder for the November 17 killing of a Tropical Gulf Acres man. Sheeley has been in the Charlotte County Jail since November 18 when he was arrested for Grand Theft, Dealing in Stolen Property, Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards, and False Verification of Ownership – all related to the homicide case. 75-year-old Duane Fenner, was alive, but unresponsive,when authorities were called to his home. He died a week later.
