Prosecutors are asking for a life sentence for an Englewood man convicted by a jury Friday of murder charges for shooting his estranged wife in August 2011. The date for Frank Olms sentencing hearing has not been set. Olms, who is 68, and his 48-year-old wife, Nancy Olms, were both treated for gunshot wounds to the head in August 2011. He reportedly told the deputy who responded to a 911 call, “I shot her, then me.” She died at Bayfront Medical Center.
