The FBI is now joining the Florida Department of Law Enforcement into the investigation of phony letters sent to Florida voters, questioning their citizenship and eligibility to vote and threatening penalties. The FBI says it will focus on letters received by voters in 18 counties in central and southwest Florida. Voters in Sarasota, Manatee and Collier counties have received them. And among the latest to get one, none other than the Republican Party of Florida Chairman, Lenny Curry.
He says “This type of activity is not only disgusting, it is criminal, and must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”
