Deputies arrested a Port Charlotte man after they say he ran over his neighbor with a golf cart. Carl Travis Martin Jr. doesn’t have a driver’s license, it turns out. According to a neighbor, he and Martin had a disagreement Saturday. Martin got on his golf cart and said he was going to run over the man. The man says Martin made good on that threat, and he didn’t confront him after being knocked down because Martin had a pit bull riding with him. The man’s injuries were minor — he refused EMS treatment. Martin is free on bond.
