A Grove City man has been arrest on a D-U-I charge after an incident in which he narrowly missed hitting two Charlotte County Sheriff’s patrol cars. The incident happened early this morning near San Casa Drive and Tenth Street in Englewood. Deputies say two patrol cars were working the area when a pickup made a very wide turn, nearly struck one of the cars then continued down the road an near-missed the other. Officers arrested 28-year-old Robert Whittle who they say tested four times over the legal alcohol limit.
