Deeply-tinted windows lead to the arrest of a Port Charlotte man for trafficking Percocet.

A deputy pulled over Jason Middlebrooks on O’Hara Drive Friday due to the dark windows. Measurements inside the car showed the tint was much deeper than the law allows. Middlebrooks was acting very nervous, according to the deputy, who asked for permission to look through the car. The search located a Miami Dolphins hat wedged between the window and dash that contained 27 Percocet pills in a plastic baggie. Middlebrooks was booked on drug trafficking charges and posted a bond of more than $32-thousand.
