A total of six ballot questions will await voters in North Port in th e November election after action by the City COmmission last night. Included on the ballot will be a 46-million-dollar bond issue the repave neglected local streets. That will spread out over three years. The bond issue will join five amendments to the North Port city charter including one that’s already causing some confusion. It would change the titles of the City Commission chairman and vice-chairman to Mayor and Vice-Mayor without changing their duties. It would not result in a popularly-elected mayor, however.
