Early voting for the August primary election will start soon. Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent says early voting runs one week, from Saturday, August 4 through Saturday, August 11. Five locations are available between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. They are the Supervisor of Elections offices in Sarasota, Venice and North Port, along with Gulf Gate Library and North Sarasota Library.
