A Port Charlotte doctor’s employee is being accused of calling in fake prescriptions — for herself. The investigation began earlier this month when the doctor said he was called by a pharmacy questioning a prescription called in by one of his employees for ninety hydrocodone pills. The pharmacist told the doctor that when she checked it out, she discovered a number of additional hydrocodone prescriptions called in for the same person. Investigators arresting 29-year-old Tara Fashauer of Port Charlotte for obtaining fraudulent prescriptions.
