Caroline Zucker, the chairwoman of the School Board of Sarasota County, has been appointed by Speaker Dean Cannon of the Florida House of Representatives to serve as a member of the K-12 Public School Facility Funding Task Force. Zucker is one of only two school board members statewide to serve on the 11-member task force, which will explore issues related to capital funding of traditional public schools and charter schools.
