A hit-and-run accident in Sarasota in mid-March has resulted now in an arrest. Police say 22-year-old Joshua Coombs of Bradenton is being charged with causing a three-vehicle accident at 10th Street and U-S 41 in Sarasota on March 15th. A woman who was driving one car was hospitalized with injuries. The third driver not hurt. Sarasota police had a warrant out for Coombs’ arrest after they say they tried several times to get him to come in and talk about the accident in which witnesses reported his vehicle description and license number.
