Since the US Postal Service wants to cut about 250 processing centers, what’s going to happen with the Manasota center?

The USPS says it’s considering combining it with the Fort Myers center, but that’s after it considered merging it with the Tampa center. Either way, some 300 jobs would go with the Manasota mail processing center. That means if those who work there now want to keep their jobs, they’d have to move. The US Postal Service says that by moving the Manasota processing center farther away, it will save more money, which is why the center isn’t merging with the Tampa mail processing center.
