Just days from the Florida Republican Presidential primary, candidates from all sides are descending on the Sun Coast. RIck Santorum spoke in Venice last night. He’ll appear at a rally at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda tomorrow afternoon and wind up with a speech in Sarasota Sunday. Newt Gingrich speaking this afternoon in Sarasota, an appearance that organizers predicted could draw as many as four thousand supporters. And just to make the week all-encompassing politically, First Lady Michelle Obama will be in Sarasota Thursday to speak to leading Democrats at a private home.
