A high-speed chase through Sarasota last night ended with a flipped car and a driver in jail. Originally, deputies were responding to a domestic dispute call but when they arrived, they say 23-year-old Travis Potter drove off at high speed. Deputies chased Potter up Beneva Road, during which he hit three cars while weaving in and out of traffic. It ended when Potter lost control and rolled his car at Riviera Drive. Officers say Potter was carrying drugs and driving with a suspended license.
