Suncoast Humane Society was recently awarded an operating grant from Gulf Coast Community Foundation to purchase a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
This grant was one of ten grants approved at the Foundation’s December Board meeting to assist local nonprofits with operating and program support.
The $17,700 grant received by Suncoast Humane Society will help the organization purchase a new CRM system that is expected to expedite gift processing and improve efficiency amongst staff using the new system. Suncoast Humane Society expects to
implement the new software in March 2012. “We are pleased to have the support of Gulf Coast Community Foundation and we fully expect this new software to positively impact our
organization by streamlining operations, thus giving our staff more time to establish meaningful and lasting relationships with our constituents,” stated Phil Snyder, Executive Director for Suncoast Humane Society.
Suncoast Humane Society operates an Open Admissions, animal care center serving Charlotte County and portions of Sarasota and Lee counties. Since 1971, Suncoast Humane Society has helped prevent animal homelessness and improve the quality of life.
In 2010 alone, more than 37,000 animals and people benefited from their programs and services including low-cost spay/neuter, affordable vaccinations, pet therapy, thrift stores,
