(PUNTA GORDA) Charlotte County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit detectives arrested Jonathan Padilla Soto, aka “CHONO” Monday in connection with a drug deal Dec. 28. Detectives purchased Roxicodone pills from “Chono” during an undercover investigation and later positively identified him as Soto.
Soto was arrested last Saturday on four unrelated charges and taken to jail where he remained on no bond. Detectives went to the jail Monday to serve the latest drug arrest charges. He is charged with Sale and Delivery of Roxicodone, and Possession of Roxicodone. Soto has been booked into the County Jail 16 times and is a twice convicted felon.
