He shot a repo man in southwest Charlotte County and now deputies are on his trail. The Charlotte Major Crimes Unit today looking for 36-year-old Raul Romero, who they say shot a two truck driver who was trying to repossess his girlfriend’s car. The truck driver not seriously injured. The incident happened in the 40-thousand block of Horseshoe Road near the Lee County line. And it yielded evidence of another crime. When officers entered the house following the shooting they say they found an elaborate marijuana-growing operation. The resulted in the arrest of Romero’s girlfriend, 26-year-old Arazay Gonzalez. Charges pending today.
