It’s been a big “green” week in Sarasota. First, the city was recognized for its efforts in a number of environmentally-friendly water quality and flood control projects. Then, an official of the Environmental Protection Agency visited the county yesterday to see which successful projects here could be replicated in other corners of the country. The EPA drawn to the overall improvement in water quality in Sarasota Bay as well as projects such as the Celery Fields wetlands.
