The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the man who robbed the RBC Bank at 1788 South Tamiami Trail in Venice.
The stick up happened yesterday, just before 11 a.m. Witnesses told police that the alleged robber handed the teller a note demanding cash. She complied and the suspect fled on foot. Police say the bank’s surveillance video shows a white man, in his 20s, six feet tall, red hair and a slender build. When he pulled off the robbery, he was wearing baggy, light colored jeans, a yellow polo shirt beneath a gray pullover windbreaker or sweatshirt, a tan Tampa Bay Rays ball cap and a yellow “LIVESTRONG” bracelet on his wrist.
