She posed as a doctor for years. Now, she faces a stretch behind bars. Prosecutors say 57-year-old Mira Matchin of North Port posed as a medical doctor and billed the government more than $723,000 for procedures she didn’t perform. Matchin was charged with 10 counts for filing fictitious Medicare claims for injections, physical therapy and some medical services that never happened. She worked out of a North Port business as well as private residences in Warm Mineral Springs.
