A Port Charlotte man was seriously injured in a crash on Westchester Boulevard Wednesday afternoon. Florida Highway Patrol, in a release late yesterday, reported that 42-year old Dominic Rapisardi suffered serious injuries in the crash, while his passenger, 28-year old Gabriel Reyes Mendoza of North Port, was critically injured. Troopers say a northbound GMC Pickup driven by 17-year old Terrence Dubrey of Port Charlotte ran into Rapisardi’s Nissan Altima as Rapisardi was trying to turn into a driveway near Westchester and Vassar. Troopers cited Dubrey with failure to yield.
