(CHARLOTTE COUNTY) Charlotte County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit detectives in two separate undercover drug buys Tuesday arrested an Oxycodone Trafficker and an Oxycodone Dealer.

Darren Alan Blades, 23, 21970 Cellini Ave., Port Charlotte, sold 20 Oxycodone capsules to for $280. Blades set up the drug deal in the parking lot of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2500 Easy Street. Once the exchange was completed, he was taken into custody. This was Blades second drug deal with undercover detectives; on September 21, he sold six Oxycodone capsules for $100, in a parking lot on East Street within 1,000 feet of the same church. Blades was charged with Trafficking in Oxycodone, Sale and Delivery of Oxycodone, Possession of Oxycodone, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Blades remains in jail on $54,500 bond.

Kimberly Lois Webb, 26, 28024 Cleveland Ave., (Cleveland) east of Punta Gorda, sold five Oxycodone capsules to undercover detectives for $100 in the Circle-K parking lot, 5169 Duncan Road, near her home in Cleveland. Webb was charged with Sale and Delivery of Oxycodone Within 1,000 Feet of a Convenience Business, and Possession of Oxycodone. Webb remains in jail on $27,500 bond.
