North Port can continue to claim it’s the largest city in Sarasota County. New figures put North Port’s population at 57,893, which is 536 more than last year. Sarasota’s growing, too. The numbers show an increase of 197 residents since the 2010 census.North Port now estimated to have around fifty-five hundred more residents than Sarasota. The new figures just out from the University of Florida’s Bureau of Economic and Business Research.
